Hi all,

Everything is finally all said and done, and we are finished until September 2024.

Let’s start with the results of the playoffs, mentioned briefly already:

In the ‘A’ division we had a tight first round, with two teams each coming out with 3 wins. Sharkey’s Plumbing took the edge in round two though, with 4 wins compared to 3 for Blue Sky in a battle of plumbing co. sponsored teams.

4 Darts had a clean sweep on night one, and while they couldn’t maintain that pace two nights in a row, they did manage to hold on to finish number one.

In the ‘A’ vs. ‘B’ final playoff 4 Darts pulled off the victory to be our ultimate winners for the year.

Additional recognition

It’s not noted on any stats sheets on the site, so let’s say it here: Cory Little added himself as the ninth player with a 180 this season, getting one on the last night of play.

First, I want to thank all members of the league. The permanent fixtures especially for their continued participation and dedication. The more transient folks also deserve thanks because we need a full contingent of teams week in and week out to make it a league.

Thanks to the team captains and my fellow executive members, and please keep a special remembrance in mind for the tragic loss of Larry Ranger this year. I’ll also note that Reg Lamothe, the vice president, departed the league at the end of the year, though that was for an out of town opportunity, thanks to him, and we wish him all the best after the move.

Finally, thank you to the peripheral people – Larry the bartender (and his occasional replacements), and Mark Montgomery (the gaming and sporting director) from the legion; Lynn Villeneuve who helped out with the Turkey shoot and the playoffs; and of course we must give thanks to all our sponsors:
