Final Stats are posted for the regular season, congratulations to the Pool and Spa Centre for coming out on top!
Our two weeks of playoffs are all that remains. Reminder of what’s coming in the last two weeks:
Start time is the same as usual for both weeks, though play will start later as we take care of business.
April 21st:
Elections to the executive for Gateway Men’s Dart League
- President (Currently: Chris Foren)
- Vice President (Currently: Adam Foren)
- Treasurer (Currently: Chris Foren)
- Statistics (Currently: Jeff Francom)
- Rules (Currently: Pat Lynch)
- Current holder will be asked if they will stand for the position next year
- Nominations are opened, individuals can offer themselves or nominate another individual, if another individual is nominated they can stand or decline
- If only one individual remains in contention for a position, they are the acclaimed to said position
- If multiple people are in contention for a position they will be requested to leave the floor for a vote, winner of the vote is acclaimed to the position
Voting slips will be provided at the beginning of the night for everyone to vote for the Dan and Mike Villeneuve Award for Most Sportsmanlike Team. Every player present gets an anonymous vote.
Round 1 of the playoffs will then commence – Round robin with all “A” division teams playing 1 game of 1001 against the other “A” teams. Same again for the “B” teams.
April 28th:
Prize money is handed out at the beginning of the night, with the 3 exceptions of playoff winners:
“A” playoff winners
“B” playoff winners
“A” vs “B” match with the two winners facing off against each other.
Last round of darts is played.
Final moneys are handed out, and we say good-bye until next season!
