Greetings all!

Welcome to the Spring/Summer of 2026!

I need a small break from darts after the season ends, so sorry this final update is a couple weeks after the fact, but our season is over, and we salute the victors, and compliment all the competitors for a contentious 2 playoff weeks.

Congratulations to:

  • Winner of A division Playoffs: Schutz Landscaping
  • Winner of B division playoffs: Squeeze the Bay Lemonade
  • Winner of A vs. B grudge match: Schutz Landscaping

Thanks again to everyone for another great year. Final accounting is posted if anyone is interested in where all the money went, total prize amount, what our expenses were, or why you only got a measly buck in your prize money envelope.

Let us now look forward to next year. Based on initial discussions, it sounds like everyone plans to come back, and I’m grateful to you all for the support over the last three years. And the coming one!

Some of you caught a post I made where I said big changes are coming for 26-27. The team count will remain the same. The nightly game format will remain the same. I don’t intend to change the turkey shoot or playoff format significantly (Adam had a great idea to improve the turkey shoot this season, and we think it can still be streamlined more). the season will be about the same length…

So what’s left for a big change?

Scorekeeping.

Some people are good at it, some are bad but power through, some simply can’t deal with math on the spot.

A lot has to get recorded by hand too, and make no mistake, those extra efforts by each team make a difference for stats-keeping.

So what if we didn’t have to do that? What if you could just record each shot taken? The sum of all those tells the whole story, through an entire season.

So that’s what I’m aiming for. I don’t guarantee it will be fully ready, and even if it is, there will be some validation required. But that’s what I’m working towards over this summer.

I’ll post significant updates as I have them. *If* I have them. the fallback position is status quo.

Yes, there will be money involved to implement, and nothing will go full steam ahead if we can’t all agree on that.

THANKS AGAIN TO YOU ALL AND THE REST OF THE TEAM:

Adam, Jeff, Pat
